Paragraph describing what is unique or quirky about your pet (what makes your pet one in 3 million?)
My Phoenix was a very sickly stray we adopted from a shelter when he was 7 months old. Not until he got healthy, a little older, and much bigger did we realize (and a vet confirmed through testing) that he was actually a wolf-dog, not a Siberian Husky. So he was unique from the get-go and his shelter-given name so appropriate because he truly emerged from the "ashes" to become an absolutely beautiful and magical creature. Phoenix (nicknamed "The Bean") became such an integral part of our family, our neighborhood, and my life. He was my best friend and constant companion, and everyone who met him fell in love with his good nature and quirky personality. Never in the time he was with us did he ever exhibit anything but sweetness toward anyone he met, and kids of all ages couldn't get enough of his constant kisses and gorgeous howling. He passed at the young age of 7 from a terrible illness. But his spirit lives on in my heart. How true that dogs have but one fault - their lives are too short. My fundraising goal is to fund research to find a cure for MegaE.
