We adopted Buster at age 10, we're now coming up on age 13! We had no idea how an older dog would feel getting new owners this late in life. It took a while but he has basically become my shadow (he likes my husband but loves me!). Even though he's been through numerous operations, radiation, & a slew of other ailments over the last 3 years, this dog's ability to bounce back is remarkable. One of his doctor's said he wasn't ready to leave us yet. Even though he's a bit wobbly on his feet, he doesn't like us to help him up or down stairs & always has a little extra pep in his step if treats are in the picture.
