Annie (known to NECR as Annie from Connecticut) was initially rescued from a life of living, chained, in a hoarding situation. She escaped from her original adopters and was subsequently hit by a car, suffering a dislocated hip, multiple puncture wounds, and abrasions. She was quickly taken in by a foster home of NECR where Annie received much-needed time to mend. She is now living in her new home in Maryland, deeply loved and appreciated by her family.
