I adopted Hershey in 2014 from NECR, after losing another beagle. He was found walking along a Virginia road and happily jumped in his foster mom’s car. Hershey loves people and makes friends fast - we can’t go on walks without people shouting his name from their cars. He also loves belly rubs, walks, barking at rabbits and squirrels, snuggles on the couch and being stubborn. We’ve gotten each other through a lot - I’m there for him for his separation anxiety and related health issues and he got me through the pandemic. It’s corny but we rescued each other!
