Pet's Story
We adopted Ash in September 2021. When we visited the shelter, he approached us to say hello and won us over immediately. He was about 1.5 years old at the time. His fur had been shaved because it was dirty and matted when he arrived at the shelter, so we didn’t realize he was a pretty floofy boy! Ash is shy and startles easily, but when you take the time to earn his trust he is the sweetest and most loving cat. He loves treats, sunbeams, naps, and hanging out in his catio, but he loves being petted even more. He also enjoys breaking down bathroom doors to make sure the occupant is OK and just to say hello. Our adoption of a second rescue kitty last year has helped him be more confident and active - they are real friends to one another. We are so lucky Ash is part of our family!
