Pet's Story
Jack (formerly Joe) was our Covid adoption from NFSAW. We went to see another dog but I couldn’t get his picture out of my head so I asked to see him. When they brought Jack out from the back he came bounding right over to me, backed his rump into my legs, sat down on my feet and craned his neck backwards for pets. It’s become his signature move. At that moment, I fell in love with his goofy, loving personality. He loves all people, (most) animals and especially the neighborhood kids who he begs to see when they’re playing outside. They sit around him in a circle, he picks a lap to sit on and will stay there for as long as you let him. We didn’t adopt Jack; he adopted us.
