Buddy and I started our adventure with a late-night call from NGPR that he needed to be removed from a difficult situation in which a man was threatening Buddy. He was NOT my first choice, even though I only adopt older dogs, but he was my best choice. When I first saw him, I fell in love as we all do with our pyrs. Yet it was not an easy task to become a friend to Buddy. Buddy loved children but hated men. That was problematic, but we preserved it as he was worth it. Buddy enjoyed snoozing on the front porch, scaring anyone that came to the door.
