Augustus who's name was Gamden when I adopted him in 2019 has had a very rough journey through life. Augustus weighed 53 lbs at 2yrs old when I adopted and after many visits to two clinics and great care, was diagnosed with IBD, with medication and a special diet we've managed to maintain his weight between 78 and 82lbs. In September 2022 a scan of his stomach revealed a cancerous tumor in his bladder, with surgery not an option he started on chemotherapy. He is still doing quite well and has a pyr paw and tail wag for everyone.
