Mary, a 5-year-old Bichon Frise, was named after her owner’s grandmother as a tribute to her kindness. Her mom, a Maui Humane Society board member, says she is highly motivated by treats and is known for her enthusiastic barking and constant licking. Her favorite pastime is bossing around her Bichon Frise brother, Jimmie!

Joseph is a firefighter from the Napili station on Engine 11. He has had many animals throughout his life, his favorite being his English Pointer/Pit Bull mix named Seta. Joseph has served the department for three years.
