Eligible Photographs
- Acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, and .tif
- Include only pets (cats and/or dogs) in your photo
- You may submit more than one photo.
- Photos must be of a pet owned by the contestant.
- Donations are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. The Mesabi Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Virginia, Minnesota. All entrants will receive receipts for their contributions.
All photos become the property of The Mesabi Humane Society. Vote to Win
Your photo can win by having friends and family vote. After a photo is submitted, it may appear on the Mesabi Humane Society's website, Facebook or other social media page to let the general public vote as well. Votes are $1 each.
- Votes for photos will be tabulated and displayed online.
- Click on the Participate tab to vote. The online voting period will end October 20 at 9 pm CDT. Donate a minimum of $1 to vote.
- The photograph with the most votes (donations) will win the calendar cover; the next 12 runners-up will win Pet of the Month, and the top vote-getting 52 photos will be used on our MHS card deck..
- All votes are donations to the Mesabi Humane Society and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. All donors will receive receipts for their contributions.
