Please join our 2019 Cat and Dog Photo Contest by submitting your favorite cat or dog photo to be part of our upcoming Mesabi Humane Society (MHS) 2019 Calendar and/or playing card deck. You may also
preorder calendars or the
deck of playing cards during the contest.
Make your pet a superstar and help contribute to saving the many cats and dogs we rescue. The cost is $5 to submit your photo. The photo with the most votes will earn the cover spot on the calendar and your pet will receive a gift basket with products and coupons from PetSmart and will be featured on our website for the first three months of the year. The twelve runners-up will win Pet of the Month. All thirteen winners will receive a free calendar by mail.
The top 52 photos will be used in our MHS Playing Card Deck. Winners are chosen by the number of votes received, so ask your friends and relatives to vote for your cat or dog. Every vote is one dollar and is tax-deductible. All money raised will be used to provide care for the animals we rescue until we can find them forever homes.
Voting will end October 20 at 9 pm CDT.
Top Prize:
- The calendar cover and short text about the winning pet, gift basket for your pet from PetSmart, and featured for three months on the Mesabi Humane Society website.
Runners Up:
- Twelve runners-up will be featured as a Pet of the Month, along with the pet's name and short text. We can't guarantee a specific month but will try to accommodate requests when possible.
- The top 52 photos will be featured in our MHS deck of cards with our logo on the front face of the card. Entries with at least 20 votes each will receive a complementary deck of cards. Additional decks will be available for purchase.
