Pet’s Bio
Meet Izzy, the 4.5-pound long-haired chihuahua who proves that great things come in small packages! This spirited little dynamo has been spreading joy on Mt. Helix since 2014, when she was rescued from Forgotten Paws Animal Rescue in Vista, CA. Now 11 years young (that’s 77 in dog years!), she’s the beloved Chief of Staff to Kathleen Hedberg, Director of the Helix Water District.

Izzy loves attending events, meetings, and parades, all while championing important causes like water conservation and fire prevention. With a heart full of happiness, she adores meeting new friends, getting plenty of pets, and exploring every nook and cranny around Mt. Helix.

Small but mighty, Izzy is always on a mission to spread smiles and wagging tails wherever she goes!
