Maine Coon Rescue’s Calendar Photo Contest

Welcome back to Maine Coon Rescue's annual photo contest! With your help last year's contest was our best!

We are looking for the best Maine Coon cat photos! If you love showing off all your cat's cuteness and want to help us save more lives, then this is a great chance for you to do so!

Our goal is to raise at least $5,500.00!

All proceeds will go to the vetting and care of our Maine Coon Rescue cats.

Submit the best photo of your Maine Coon or Maine Coon Mix for a chance to win one of 12 cat of the month spots or be on the cover of our calendar!

The cat who is the winner of our cover spot will get their own feature page inside the calendar plus other fun items!

We have other prizes you can be entered to win! Lots of great things for the cat in your life. Just by entering our contest you are entered to win a Catit Play Circuit Toy for your cat!

Enter your best picture today! To enter your cat's photo, there is a minimum $15.00 donation. Please note the photo needs to be high resolution. If the photo is not high resolution, it will print grainy once enlarged to fit the calendar. We also ask that people are not included in your photos. Once you enter the photo contest, you have chances to win multiple prizes which include gifts for your cat and a copy of the calendar.

Remember your cats DO NOT have to be adopted from Maine Coon Rescue to be eligible.

Vote for your favorite photos and spread the word to friends and family to vote. Votes are $1.00 per vote. Every $1.00 spent on a vote is a $1.00 donation to help care for Maine Coon cats.

All photos entered will be included in the calendar, even if they are not winners.

Please enter our contest between 6:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, July 6, 2024 and 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Voting will end 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Any cat who enters our contest is entered to win a Catit Senses Play Circuit, Free Calendar, & Pet Blanket.
Any cat who earns 300 votes will be entered to win a Custom Shadow Box.
Any cat who earns 200 votes will be entered to win a portrait of your cat.
Any cat who receives 100 votes will be entered to win a cat tree.
Any entry between July 6^th-& July 19^th will be entered to win a handmade pet blanket & $25.00 Amazon Gift Card.
Any entry between July 20^th & August 3^rd will be entered to win a Chewy Goodie Box for your cat.

About

Maine Coon Rescue is a nationwide 501(C) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Maine Coon and Maine Coon mix cats. We are a network of volunteers who share one love: our beloved Maine Coons. We assist in assuring that these cats are placed in carefully screened forever-homes where they will spend the rest of their lives being spoiled as they deserve.

The entire funding of our rescue efforts come from the generosity of cat lovers through donations, adoption fees, and various fundraising activities. This money is used with great care so that every dollar helps as many Maine Coon and Maine Coon mix cats and kittens as possible.

Rules

The minimum donation to enter the photo contest is $15.00. You may enter more than once.
Votes are $1.00 donation per vote.
All proceeds earned from the contest goes toward the vetting and care of cats within Maine Coon Rescue. Maine Coon Rescue is a nationwide 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. You will receive a receipt for your donations. Donations are non-refundable and fully tax-deductible.
All entries are required to list the name of the cat. We would encourage you to include a short biography of the cat.
The contest is open to all Maine Coon or Maine Coon mixes. They do not have to be adopted from Maine Coon Rescue to be eligible for the contest.
Photos submitted need to have of high quality resolution. Winning photos will be enlarged to fit the calendar pages. If your photo turns out to be grainy we will reach out to you.
We ask that people not be in the photos submitted. The photos may contain multiple cats or other pets.
Once the photos are submitted, they will appear on the contest website and voting will begin.
Photographs must be taken by the owner. We will not accept any professional photographs.
Photos submitted become the property of Maine Coon Rescue and may be used for online uses, print, or marketing.
We reserve the right to decline publication of photos.
Please note: In the event of our Grand Prize Winner being a tie, both cats will receive the grand prize package and share the cover of our calendar.
