About the contest
Charlotte Detienne Photography, in partnership with Bruzze Brewing, benefiting Lake Oconee Humane Society, is proud to announce the Lakelife Lager Label Contest for Summer 2026. Proceeds from the photo contest will go directly to Lake Oconee Humane Society in support of their ongoing efforts to rescue, rehome, and care for animals in the Lake Oconee area — including their in-house medical clinic, spay and neuter programme, free pet food distribution, and TNVR programme for local cat colonies.
We invite you to submit your favourite photo of your dog and ask your family, friends, and community to vote. The dog that receives the most votes will win a professional portrait session with Charlotte Detienne Photography and have their portrait featured on a limited-edition Lake Life Lager can from Bruzze Brewing — with a portion of can sales also benefiting LOHS as a profit share.
Please review the Contest Rules carefully before submitting. Entries that do not follow the guidelines will not be eligible to win. Every entry fee and every vote is a tax-deductible donation to Lake Oconee Humane Society.
Grand Prize
The winner of the Lake Dog Lager Beer Label Contest will be the dog that receives the most votes at the close of the Voting Period. The winning dog will be professionally photographed by Charlotte Detienne Photography, and their portrait will be featured on the limited-edition Lake Life Lager can produced by Bruzze Brewing.

The Winner
- The dog receiving the most votes at the close of the Voting Period on June 22, 2026 will be declared the winner. The winner will be announced publicly on June 23, 2026.
The dog with the most votes at the close of the Voting Period wins. The winning dog will receive a professional studio portrait session with Charlotte Detienne Photography, scheduled between June 23–30, 2026 at a location to be agreed upon within the Lake Oconee area. A portrait selected by Charlotte Detienne will be featured on the limited-edition Lake Life Lager can produced by Bruzze Brewing. The winning owner will also have the opportunity to purchase additional printed portraits at Charlotte Detienne Photography's standard rates.
To be eligible to win, the dog must be alive at the time of the winner announcement and able to attend a portrait session. The portrait session will take place between June 23, 2026 and June 30, 2026. If the winning owner is unable to commit to a session within this window, or if the dog is unable to attend, the win is forfeited, and the next highest vote-getter will be selected in their place, no exceptions.
Posting multiple photos of the same dog does not increase the chances of winning. A dog may only win once.

The next highest vote-getter will be selected in their place.
