Contest Rules

Even though we do love all dogs, they must be a RESCUE DOG in order to participate for this calendar contest. It does not matter which rescue they were adopted from.
All donations from voting will go directly to support Lifeline Puppy Rescue, a 501(c)3 no-kill puppy rescue located in Brighton, CO.
Photo entry participants must be able to attend a calendar photoshoot with their dog on ONE of the 2 dates scheduled in May or June (TBA - most likely on a weekday) in the Denver Metro Area during the a.m. hours. Detailed location will be released to the winner after the contest has ended and we will work with you to find the date that works best. *If you are unable to attend one of the three days given to you then the runner up will have the opportunity to take your place and you will be awarded a different prize.
The top fundraiser dog will be photographed with local Colorado Firefighters and be awarded with a featured page in our 2025 Fire Rescue Dogs Calendar along with a short story of your rescue pup!
By entering your photo into this contest you also agree and give permission for Lifeline Puppy Rescue and the Fire Rescue Dogs Calendar to use your name, your pets name, story and photograph in our 2025 Fire Rescue Dogs Calendar, current and future social media promotions, publications and other marketing materials.
Lifeline Puppy Rescue reserves the right to disqualify any entry if we deem necessary to do so.

Photo Requirements

Photos must be submitted by 9:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Photo should be of your dog only please and no other pets or people if possible.
Do you have 2-3 rescue dogs? That’s super awesome! You may submit up to 3 dogs in one photo but they must ALL be rescue dogs in order to be considered together. No more than 3 dogs please.
Please make sure that your photos are in focus with decent lighting so that we can clearly see your dog.
