The 12 most popular pet photos will each be featured as a "Pet of the Month", and the photo with the most votes will also grace the cover.

In addition, we have a special spot reserved for the first and second runners-up. All 12 winners and both runners-up will receive a free calendar.

Founded in 2021, LaMa Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency. We are a community volunteer, foster based rescue group advocating for the many homeless, neglected, and abused pets of Northwest Louisiana. We strongly focus on educating the public on general pet health, spay and neuter & vaccination. We provide vetting, foster care housing and then transportation mainly to New England area rescue partners where the animals are able to be placed in their forever homes.

In 2024 we broke ground for our first shelter building. Stay tuned for more news!
