My dog is the coolest because...
Higgins is not in a class of his own. He is not in a class with the Paw Patrol, Lassie, or Rin-Tin-Tin. Instead, Higgins is in a class with Tramp and Pongo. And that is what Higgins thinks makes him the coolest! Higgins loves Lulu, the cockapoo who lives across the street. The slightest noise from beyond the walls of our home, and Higgins dashes to the front window, pushes the blinds to one side with his nose, and whines with sincere longing for his sweet Lulu. Often minutes tick by with no sign of Lulu. Eventually, Higgins gives up, jumps onto my lap, curls into a small ball of white curls, closes his eyes, and drifts off to sleep. And although he may be dreaming of Lulu, sharing this time with me is why I think Higgins is the coolest dog!
