Banks was rescued from the Euthanasia list at Memphis Animal Services Nov 2022 - he had a few broken ribs and had no use of his hind legs. After several months of crate rest and rehab, he slowly regained the use of his legs and proceeded to get stronger! After a failed adoption, we fostered him - by the end of that first day, my husband and I knew he was where he was supposed to be. He loves balls, he will retrieve them as long as you throw, returns and drops it at your feet. We named him after the Grizzlies’ Desmond Bane! At just 9#, his fun, happy personality brings us joy everyday. We are so lucky to spend our lives with him!
