Hawthorne 1991 - 2006

They say that for every day you go fishing that it adds a day to your life. I don't know if that is true or not, but I know I would give up more than a few days of my life to have to chance to go fishing again with Hawthorne.

He really wasn't much of a fisherman, but he was far more patient than I am.

Hawthorne wandered up to house and rescued us. He lived to the ripe old age of 16, and while we've had several other dogs since him, he is the one I secretly measure all the others up against.
