Pet’s Story
Coco was donated to K9s For Warriors in the hope of becoming a service dog for a disabled veteran. Unfortunately she was determined to be way too timid for service. I volunteer there, and had worked with her some, so I adopted her when she became available. She was fully trained; I just worked to slowly gain her trust and get her to relax around new people and situations. She is now the love of our 55+ community! She knows when someone needs her love or one of her nose-bump "kisses."
