Welcome to Pets for Pride! Each year JASMYN’s pet photo contest raises funds for vital services that support the care and empowerment of LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults in Northeast Florida.

The top vote-getter-by-donation will be declared the winner of the 4th Annual Pets for Pride Photo Contest and the JASMYN Mascot for 2024. Our 2023 Mascot “Ruthie” has served beautifully and we thank her for doing so in style. Now it’s time to crown a new champion!

It's easy to participate! Sign up and submit your favorite photo of your pet, then encourage your family and friends to vote for your pet's picture.

Voting starts with a minimum $5 donation at the time of voting, but the sky’s the limit when voting for your favorite. Pets will receive one vote for every $1 donated. View more frequently asked questions. 

All donations to the Pets for Pride Photo Contest support JASMYN’s life-saving mental health programs and services for LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults. We are proud to offer a collaborative program that welcomes everyone without barriers, stigma or judgment. Thanks for empowering our young people, especially right now!

Although mascot bragging rights are the reason for the season, the winning “pet parent” will receive a prize package containing a custom collar and tag for their pet from Amelia Island Julz and a $25.00 gift card to Chewy! (If your pet doesn’t wear a collar we’ll work with the artisan to design something else for you.) But wait - there's more! Our friends at Sun Screen Print will also chip in a custom-designed prize that reflects our winner's special place in the animal world. What fun!

All entries that meet eligibility requirements will be approved for entry to the Contest.

Ready for your close-up? Take some pics of your precious pet, choose the best one, then register to get started. Push the message out far and wide to friends, family, coworkers (if that’s allowed), neighbors, faraway folks -- and encourage everyone to vote, vote, vote!

To increase your pet's chances of winning, be sure to post on Facebook, Instagram and any other social media you use. Anyone can vote and there is no upper limit on donations, so get that circle spinning! Don't forget to tag us in your social media posts: #PetsForPride2024
