Which fairy-tale character would your pet be? Why?
Meli would be Maleficent! She looks scary at first, but she is one of the sweetest dogs out there. She is misunderstood by many when she walks by them, but ones we use the code word “is that a friend” her ears go down and she just wants to love up on every person. Her love language is to be showered with kisses and love.

When we first got Meli, she was scared of the world and many dogs causing her to be reactive. This in turn scared people and dogs, by showing her love and teaching her trust she has been able to feel comfortable showing love and giving love to everyone.

If your pet had a fairy godmother, what would they wish for?
Meli would wish for a home with 10 acres of forest, so she is able to hike and run through the trees all day. She would also like to play ball every day the rest of her life, with a swimming pool to jump into and cool off at the end.

What is the most magical thing about your pet?
The most magical thing about Meli is her ability to calm any person down/ make them feel loved. Meli is empathetic to every person she meets, she try’s to make peoples day by giving them kissed and “petting” them with her head and paws. Meli is a huge love bug who wants everyone to know they are loved.

How did your pet find their happily ever after?
Meli came from Helen Woodworth, unfortunately the girl who adopted her couldn’t take care of her any more. I found her on the website home to home through the humane society. When I met her I instantly fell in love, she needed some training (she was scared at first of many dogs) but after showing her it’s okay, she was able to show her true colors by being a BIG LOVER BUTT!
