China would love to be a HSVC pinup girl! She was adopted from HSVC in 2017 when she was 4 months old. Although China looks black, to our surprise we discovered she’s actually what’s termed a “Smoke Black” cat - a totally black cat with a white undercoat. Brush back her fur and you’ll find each shaft begins with about a 1/4 inch of white. This little girl is 100% domestic, scared of her shadow and hasn’t a wild instinct in her. She is the shyest, sweetest little girl, always seeking attention and a lap to crawl up on - she’s my Sweet Pea! Initially an indoor kitty she now wanders outdoors to lay on the patio chairs or explore her fenced yard. She prefers company outside so with a whiny little mew and quivering tail held high she runs in to beg me to follow her out. I keep close tabs on my little baby lest some intruder violate her space and she’s never out very long.
