Crumpet is a rescue, yes, a rescue corgi, it does happen! My former corgi Lleulu passed of cancer, and I went on Pet Finder and tapped in "Corgi", like that's going to happen. Well, up pops Crumpet! She was in really rough shape, obviously a not so good past and I knew she had to be my little girl! I stalked the rescue, pleaded my case and within days she was mine. I drove hours away to get my girl. She lived with me 5 great years, she just recently passed, but lives on in my heart and others that knew her.
