What is Ed? A marimo (also known as Cladophora ball, moss ball, moss ball pet, or lake ball) is a rare growth form of Aegagropila linnaei (a species of filamentous green algae) in which the algae grow into large green balls with a velvety appearance.

Ed enjoys long walks on the beach, photosynthesizing, and floating in his tank. His favorite place in the world is the window sill. Ed’s favorite season is Summer because of all the sun! His zodiac sign is Taurus, which makes sense with how chill and laid back he is! Ed’s dream tank partner is someone that’s chill and laid back who won’t slowly eat him.

Ed was ethically sourced and grown by a hobbyist in Texas and is free of any invasive species!
