Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s 2024 Calendar Contest

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is excited to announce our 8th Annual Pet Photo Calendar Contest!

Does your pet have what it takes to be a cover model? Show us your favorite photo of your precious pet, and not only will you be raising money for needy animals in our community, but you have the chance to win some cool swag for yourself and have your pet featured in our 2024 calendar!

Contest entry is only $10 and each vote is $1. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of homeless pets. Once you submit your entry, you can share it with your family and friends and encourage them to vote! The contest will run from 12:00AM on July 1, 2023 to 9:00PM on July 31, 2023.

Friendly Reminder: Winners must be able to attend a photo shoot WITH their pictured pet(s) on September 6th, 7th, or 8th at AGold Photo Pet Photography Studio at a specific time!

Prizes

Grand Prize (1)

The photo with the most votes will be on the COVER of the HSTB 2024 calendar AND on one month inside the HSTB 2024 calendar. The featured photos will be taken by AGoldPhoto Pet Photography and the original entrant photo will be included in the calendar, as well. Photo will be taken at AGoldPhoto Pet Studio.
2-night stay at the newly-renovated and pet-friendly Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore.
$500 Columbia Restaurant gift certificate (expires 11/30/2023).

First Prizes (11)

11 First Prize winners will have their photo featured on one month inside the HSTB 2023 calendar. The featured photo will be taken by AGoldPhoto Pet Photography and the original entrant photo will be included in the calendar as well. Photo will be taken at AGoldPhoto Pet Studio.
Each first prize winner will also receive a $100 Columbia Restaurant gift certificate (expires 11/30/2023).

Second Prizes (60)

50 Second Prize winners will have their entrant photo featured on a blank date space within the calendar.

Third Prizes (70)

70 Third Prize winners will have their entrant photo featured on the 2023 calendar collage page at the end of the 2023 Calendar.

Judge's Choice (1)

Must raise a minimum of $100 to be entered into the Judge's Choice contest
One (1) finalist will be randomly selected as the winner
Winner will be featured on the back cover of the HSTB 2023 Calendar
Winner receives an HSTB Retail Store gift basket including a $75 gift certificate to the HSTB retail store

Rules

Since this is a fundraiser, the entry fee is $10 per photo and $1 per vote. Participants can enter as many photos as they want, but each photo has a separate entry fee. HOWEVER, while you can have multiple entries for your pet, you can only win ONE Calendar Page per pet.
The 12-top vote-getters MUST be able to attend a photoshoot with their pet(s) at AGold Photo Pet Photography Studio (3105 W Bay to Bay Blvd Suite A Tampa, FL 33629) on either September 6th, 7th, or 8th at a specific time. If a winning contestant is unable to participate during the designated photography schedule, the contestant with the next highest number of votes will be selected as a winner to be featured in the calendar.
There is a limit to 3 pets PER entry.
Photos are to be of pets ONLY; people are not allowed in the photo. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner.
Entry and voting period is July 1, 2023 12:00AM EST through July 31, 2023 9:00PM EST.
The 12-top vote-getters will also receive a Discovery Call with AGoldPhoto Pet Photography to learn more about them and their personality, discuss the session for the calendar and learn about upgrading to a full Pet Photo Shoot Experience where owners can be included and custom prints and artwork is available for purchase.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
The grand prize winner will be the photo with the most votes at the end of the voting period.
The winners will be notified by August 7, 2023. Prizes will be mailed to the address on file or arrangements will be made for pick up.
The second prize (60) winners will have their photo featured in one of the blank date spaces within the calendar.
The third prize (70) winners will have their entrant photo featured on the 2023 calendar collage page at the end of the 2023 Calendar.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay reserves the right to remove any pictures for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired.
