Gus was rescued from a corn field in Indiana after being abandoned. He was adopted by my friend Tami and they moved to Southern California. Tami moved to an assisted living facility and gave Gus to her best friend Michele, my beautiful sister. Michele passed away in January and Gus is now living with me and my husband Albert, along with our other fur-babies, Murray (orange cat), Debby (chihuahua), and Junebug (black cat) who belongs to our roommate Bill. I give frequent updates of Gus to Tami, who lives near Anaheim, and he appears in the assisted living facility's annual pet parade. The picture I am submitting is from the groomer the day before his appearance.
