Why is your dog a hero?
Luna is a 6 month old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. She is a therapy puppy in training that we hope will one day serve our first responders and people in need at our local hospital. Right now Luna helps her dad, an LAFD firefighter, enjoy his days off by taking him on hiking adventures, playing soccer and snuggling up with him on the couch for movie nights. She is ready to become LAFD’s official mascot and bring a bit of relief to those that help the residents of Los Angeles on a daily basis, our wonderful firefighters.
