Why is your dog a hero?
Ruffy is a search and rescue canine assigned to the LAFD FEMA CATF-1 team. He is not only an amazing search dog for the city, state and country but also a loving part of our family. He makes his rounds at work with me daily throughout the course of my duties as a LAFD firefighter/paramedic, bringing smiles to faces with his mild manners and wagging tail, then comes home and becomes a blanket for our 2 and 7 year old. He brings happiness into our lives everyday.
