*The TOP 12 winning photos:The TOP 12 winning photos will be placed in the top part of a calendar month and will receive one (1) FREE calendar per winning photo.
The Photo in the TOP 12 winning photos with the MOST VOTES will also be the COVER PHOTO of the calendar and the participant will receive a $100 Chewy Gift Card.
The photo with the second most votes will receive a $50 Chewy Gift Card, and the third photo with the most votes will receive a $25 Chewy Gift Card. The prizes will be available after the 2025 Calendar has been printed.

**If two winning photos are tied for the top 12 or 24 runner-ups or the top three winning photos for the Chewy Gift Card Prize, the photo with the earlier date and time submission will win.About Us
Our mission is simple yet profound: to provide a nurturing temporary home and essential medical treatment to adoptable cats and dogs. We are dedicated to finding these lovable companions a place where they will thrive, while also fostering a greater awareness of humane treatment for all animals.
A cornerstone of our mission is to promote spay and neuter programs to combat the overpopulation of cats and dogs in Highland County. While we do not handle stray animal pickups, we believe in supporting the wellbeing of all animals in our community through education and advocacy.
As a nonprofit organization governed by a passionate volunteer Board of Directors, we operate independently, without funding or control from local, state, or national bodies. Our work relies solely on the generosity of our members, donors, and bequests.

RULES & PARTICIPANT UNDERSTANDINGS:- The photo must only contain pet(s), NO humans. Any photo(s) that contain humans will be removed from the contest.
- Any photos submitted must be of good quality where they may be enlarged without affecting the image and/or the printing of the calendar.
- Highland Humane Society reserves the right to enhance or edit the photo before printing, including cropping if needed to ensure that it fits within the designated space(s).
