John Henry was adopted when I worked at the humane society he was rescued by, he had late stage heart worm, hook worms and round worms along with fleas and ticks and was extremely scrawny. Even though he had all of those he was the sweetest dog with the fastest wagging tail you’d ever see, to this day he has been to several beach areas and loves exploring rivers and lakes. This was taken in Virginia Beach on his first ever beach trip.
