DOGelgangers and Copy Cats: A Look Alike Competition

Ever notice pets and their owners often look alike? Have you ever seen a dog or a cat that looks so much like a celebrity you would swear they must have been separated at birth?

As part of the interactive nature of this year’s Lawrence Humane Society Fur Ball, we are challenging you to submit your pet look alike pictures. Let your creative side run wild, get your four-legged family members the attention they deserve and help raise money for lost, abandoned and abused animals right here in our community.

The funds raised during the 2020 Fur Ball – including funds from this contest -- will go toward animal sheltering and adoptions, investigations of animal cruelty and neglect, veterinary care, education programs for the community and so much more!

It's easy to participate! Submit your pet look alike photo here, then get your family and friends to vote for your pet's picture!

Win great prizes! There are great prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers of LHS’s DOGelgangers and Copy Cats Competition. You can find the full list of prizes on our prize page. But most importantly you’ll know you and your best furry friend helped provide second chances at homes, health and happiness for homeless pets in Douglas County.

Questions? Contact Sydney Martin at smartin@lawrencehumane.org.

Photo submissions and votes require a minimum tax-deductible donation to support the animals and programs at the Lawrence Humane Society. Please view our rules page for complete participant guidelines and eligibility requirements.
