The story behind the photo
The morning it was taken, the sun was barely breaking the horizon, so my back is to the sun and the trees ahead of me are bathed in filtered red light, more sky bounce than direct sunlight. It was beautiful to watch (about 5:30 on a summer morning). And fleeting. It lasted perhaps ten minutes.
