About My Pet
Berkeley was adopted as a pup but sadly returned to the shelter at age four after her elderly person died. She had lost her person and I had lost my dog of 13 years. Berkeley was horribly overweight, and no one would have imagined what a vibrant, strong, wonderful dog she truly was! She wouldn’t eat for the first three days in her new home. We started hiking the local trails every week. The third trip out she began to trot and explore off leash and sniff everything and play in mud puddles and become a real dog. She was eating healthy and becoming very happy. She quickly reached her ideal weight. She is the sweetest, friendliest dog I have ever known. When the weather is nice enough for everyone to come out, she really enjoys meeting other dogs at the local dog parks. She also loves shopping when it is rainy or hot. Her favourite store is Lowe’s.
