Welcome to the Fairfield Museum and History Center's 12
th Annual IMAGES 2020 Juried Photography Show. We are pleased to continue celebrating the exceptional work of talented photographers in our region.
The Fairfield Museum invites professional, serious amateur, and student photographers from Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts to participate. Submissions will be accepted through midnight on Sunday, March 1, 2020. Please review the contest rules and

The IMAGES 2020 Juried Photography Show provides an excellent opportunity for artists to connect with prominent collectors, gallery owners, fellow photographers, and the public.
A jury will select approximately 40 photographs for exhibition in the
IMAGES 2020 Juried Photography Show, which opens on Saturday, April 25 with a special Gala Preview Party. The show will be on display at the Fairfield Museum from Sunday, April 26, 2020 through Sunday, June 7, 2020.
Donate-to-Vote
You may also participate in the voluntary
Donate-to-Vote, which helps the Fairfield Museum defray the cost of this online photo submission website.
There is no prize given for the winner of Donate-to-Vote. Votes are cast by making a donation ($1 = 1 vote). The photograph that received the most Donate-to-Vote support will be recognized at the opening of the IMAGES 2020 Juried Photography Show.
The Donate-to-Vote is entirely voluntary and has no influence on the jury's selection of photographs for IMAGES 2020.
Photographer's Reception
The Fairfield Museum will announce the IMAGES winners on Thursday, April 30
th at the
IMAGES 2020 Juried Photographer's Reception.The jury will choose one photograph as "Best in Show" from Professional/Serious Amateur category and one "Best in Show" from the Student category. Honorable mentions will also be noted.
The award for the Professional/Serious Amateur winner is a six-week exhibition of their own work at the
Bruce S. Kershner Gallery at date to be determined by the gallery. The Student Grand Prize winner will receive a professional portfolio review with acclaimed photographer and artist
Philip Trager.
