I adopted Captain in April 2024 from Darbster after losing my heart dog in 2023. Captain and his brother were dumped in the middle of the road in FL in 2021. Captains brother was adopted in FL but Captain was a little more timid. This sweet boy was adopted into a home where he was abused & neglected for a little over a year. Once he was at Darbster we committed to working through his traumas and started to work on his reactivity, training, and muzzle training. I fell in love with him and working with him. Captain helped me through a lot when I lost my soul dog. I just knew we were meant to be together forever!
