Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Winnie, formerly known as Helen, in January of this year. She was rescued by Darbster from West Palm Beach, Florida and she now resides happily in NH! Winnie can be found sleeping in the bathroom sink, lounging “poolside” (AKA laying next to the water bowl), eating maybe a little ~too~ much kibble, unraveling all of the toilet paper, carrying her favorite jingle ball in her mouth like a dog, or doing any other odd thing you would never expect from a cat. Although hard to believe when looking at her now, Winnie was very shy and timid when we first adopted her. But now, her big personality has flourished and we are so grateful to have her as an addition to our family! She always keeps us entertained and on our toes, wondering what odd thing she’ll do next; maybe it’s the black cat in her! Upon her arrival a little over 6 months ago, Winnie adjusted very quickly to her new home… and has now pretty much taken over, despite her two older siblings, a 15 year old cat and 9 year old dog, who initially ran the house. In fact, Winnie is pictured above in the dog’s crate that she has decided is actually hers; thankfully, our dog doesn’t mind sharing. It’s Winnie’s world, we’re just living in it!
