Anyone 18 years or older, living in the U.S., is eligible to enter their pet. (In other words, our Cutest Pet contest isn't limited just to North Georgia pets.)
All living pets - dogs, cats, horses, small mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. - are eligible. Also, pets that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge may be entered in our Angel Pet category.
Enter your pet in one of four categories – Dog (Dogs only), Cat (Cats only), Creature Great & Small (other qualified pets) or Angel Pet (departed pets.) New this year is a "Battle of the Badges" category featuring pets from the Lumpkin County Sheriff, Dahlonega Police, and UNG Police.
Entry fee is $5 per pet. With that, you automatically receive 5 votes. Enter as many pets as you wish for $5 per pet.
To enter, post your pet's photo and a brief description at gogophotocontest.com/dahlonegasunriserotary.

Details

The contest runs from 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, October 28, 2023 until 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
You may post your pet's picture starting 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, October 28, 2023 through 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Voting runs from 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 to 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
Vote casting for the Cutest Pet starts at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Votes are $1 a piece, with a $5 minimum. (This is a fundraiser for Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Foundation, a 501 3(c) non-profit.)
A winner and a runner-up in each category will be determined by the pets with the most votes as of 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
A Best of Show prize will go to the overall pet with the most votes and to top vote getters in each category – Cutest Cat, Cutest Dog, Cutest Creature Great or Small, Angel Pet or Mayor's Pet.
Winners will be officially notified and announced the week of December 1, 2023.
