Picture your best friend on our 2026 calendar!
Is your pet adorable? Of course they are! Enter a photo of your pet September 8th - 23rd, then vote on the cutest pets during three rounds of voting from Sept 25th to October 14th. This photo contest benefits Humane Pennsylvania in Lancaster. Last year's calendar contest generated $16,750 for Humane Pennsylvania in Lancaster!
There will be three rounds of voting to determine the cutest pets. Vote tallies will be zeroed out after each round to ensure a level playing field at the start of each round. You can vote for free once each day from Thursday through Sunday during each voting round. Free votes are manually added to the leaderboard by 7:00PM on the Monday of that round of voting. Or, you can buy votes for only $1 per vote on any day of each voting round. Paid votes will be automatically updated on the leaderboard immediately.
This photo fundraiser is a great way to celebrate your best friend while also supporting Humane Pennsylvania in Lancaster. A portion of the price of each $1 vote will go to Humane Pennsylvania in Lancaster to help fund their adoption centers, accredited non-profit veterinary hospitals, emergency animal rescue services, community pet assistance programs, and an animal-focused charitable foundation.
After the three rounds of voting, the twelve top vote-getting pets (using votes from final round) will be featured in a beautiful, glossy wall calendar. The pet with the highest number of votes in the 3rd round will also have their photo on the cover of the calendar! See our prizes.
The twelve winners have the option to sign up to have a FREE professional photo taken of their pet for the calendar.* Winners will receive a free copy of the calendar and a free digital copy of the photo. Calendars are available to pre-order here.
*Professional pet photos will be scheduled in October. If your pet is a winner but you cannot attend during the available dates/times, we will use the photo you submitted to the contest, as long as it is high-quality, high-resolution and horizontal.
Helpful tips:
Only submit one photo of your pet. This will increase your odds of winning because your friends and family won’t have to choose which of your pet’s photos to vote for.

Remember to frequently check your pet’s standing toward the end of each round in case you want to vote again. Voting gets very brisk toward the end of each voting round.
Lastly, remember that every vote helps support animal welfare in our area so please vote early and often!
Voting Schedule:
- Round 1 voting:
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 9/25.
- Free voting closes Sunday, 9/28 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard Monday, 9/29 by 7:00PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 9/30 at 7:00PM.
- Round 2 voting - the top 50% of pets from Round 1 will move to Round 2 and all vote tallies will be re-set to zero.
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 10/2.
- Free voting closes: Sunday, 10/5 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard Monday, 10/6 by 7:00PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 10/7 at 7:00PM.
- Round 3 voting - the top 50% of pets from Round 2 will move to Round 3 and all vote tallies will be re-set to zero.
- Free and paid voting opens: Thursday, 10/9.
- Free voting closes: Sunday, 10/12 at 7:00PM.
- Free votes added to the leaderboard Monday, 10/13 by 7:00PM.
- Paid voting closes: Tuesday, 10/14 at 7:00PM.
- Announce winners: Wednesday, 10/15, based on the top vote tallies for the final round.
