We're searching for the COOLEST dog on the Front Range! And your dog might just be the one. Do you think your pup has what it takes??

If your dog is voted the Coolest Dog on the Front Range, your dog will be featured on the label of a special craft beer, brewed by Upslope Brewing Company! You and your dog will get to select and name your very own BREW!

How do you enter? Just submit a picture of your dog and a brief description of why your dog is the coolest. Then, convince all your friends and family to vote for your cool pup! You can vote as many times as you like, so vote early and vote often!

You'll have the unique opportunity to work with the cool folks at Upslope Brewing Company and the Foothills Kiwanis Club of Boulder Valley to feature your dog on their websites as the Coolest Dog on the Front Range. Your dog will be a star for a year and will be on the front label of a custom craft beer. It doesn't get much cooler than that!


Here's the bigger picture. Kiwanis International is a service organization focused around serving the children of the world. The Foothills Kiwanis Club of Boulder Valley is teaming up with the Broomfield North Metro Kiwanis club to raise money to fund our many service projects we run throughout the year. Money raised will go to projects such as Alert Service Dogs for Kids, College Scholarships, Girls' softball, Stars of Tomorrow Talent Show, Sweet Dream in a Bag for Foster Kids, Attention Homes, High School Key Clubs, University Circle K Clubs, Pack Away Hunger Disaster Kits, and other identified local community needs.

Alert Service Dogs for Kids provides alert dogs to selected families with children afflicted with Type 1 Diabetes or severe allergies, at no cost to the family! The families attend classes twice per month to learn to train their dog to be a full, alert service dog. Over 20 families have received dogs, but there is still a great need. Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the Top 7 Dogs that receive the most votes.


The dog with the most votes will be crowned the "Coolest Dog on the Front Range" for 2019.

The winning dog will be prominently featured on the front label of a special beer brewed by Upslope Brewing Company in Boulder. (How cool is that?!) The dog owner will have the opportunity to select the beer and name it (subject to brewery approval).

The winning dog will be professionally photographed and featured on the Kiwanis website and Facebook page, and other partner websites.

The top dog winner may be asked to attend promotional events and be available for interviews by the news media.


The dog with the second highest number of votes will be deemed the "Second Coolest Dog on the Front Range" for 2019.

The second-place dog will be professionally photographed and featured on the Kiwanis website and Facebook page, and other partner websites.

The second-place dog's professional photo will be featured on the back label of the special brew.

If the first-place dog is unable or unwilling to fulfill all the roles and responsibilities of being the Coolest Dog on the Front Range, the second-place dog will assume that title and receive all the benefits described above.


The dog with the third highest number of votes will be deemed the "Third Coolest Dog on the Front Range" for 2019.

The third-place dog will be professionally photographed and featured on the Kiwanis website and Facebook page, and other partner websites.

The third-place dog's professional photo will be featured on the back label of the special brew.


The dogs with the fourth through seventh highest number of votes will be deemed "cool dogs" and will be featured on the back label of the special brew in a smaller photo submitted to the contest.
