Hello! My name is Summit! I’m an English Cream Golden Retriever. Now, while that may sound “fancy” to you, I can assure you, there’s nothing fancy about me! I’m a working dog (well, technically, I’m still a puppy)! You see, I am currently in training for a very special assignment. I will be the very first certified service dog at Mainstreet Pediatrics! My job will be to help the children who come to the clinic be brave and feel safe. I will also work very hard to help them open up and discuss their feelings when they feel sad, worried, or scared. Let’s face it; just petting me can make even the most cynical person feel happy! So far, my training is going as expected, with just a few minor hiccups (just between you and me; I sometimes like to get into the trash cans!). I’m working hard to be the best service dog in the country…maybe even the world! I hope you vote for me!
