Here’s how it breaks down:

2nd–13th Place – Featured as Pets of the Month, one for each calendar month.
πΈ 14th Place – Photographed as an alternate. This pet will be featured as a Pet of the Month only if one of the top 13 is unable to participate.

- If your pet is one of the 14 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your pet to Furever Photography at a pre-selected location in the Denver area between June 7th-June 15th, 2025, or Grand Junction on June 6th for a professional outdoor photo session.
Weekly Prizes:
The first four weeks of the contest, we will award goodie to the pet with the most
new votes that week. We will announce the winners every Wednesday.
Benchmark Prizes:If we pass the $15,000 fundraising mark, each of the top 14 pets will receive a 16x20 Canvas or Metal Wall Print ($480 value) of their pet's calendar feature photo.
Runner up BONUS: Every pet entered with at least 100 votes at 8:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Saturday, May 31, 2025 will be entered to win a pair of tickets to our fundraiser
Raise the Woof! Party for a Cause on August 10th.
Rules
**Please read ALL rules before entering contest. Especially rules & dates of grand prize photo sessions.**
Entries:
- Each entry is an $18 donation, which includes 1 copy of the 2026 calendar.
- In order to be eligible, pet MUST be available to be photographed by Furever Friends Photography between June 7th-16th, 2025. Grand Junction June 6th only. Denver & surrounding area June 7th-15th.
- Only photographs produced by Furever Friends will be used for monthly feature photos. If your pet is unable to be photographed or you prefer a photo you took be in the calendar, please consider the reserve a date block option.
- Limit of 1 pet per photo entry. People are not allowed in photos, only your pet. Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
- You may enter multiple pets per household as separate entries.
- All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos. Due to copyright considerations we cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos. Images produced by Furever Photography may be submitted.
- The Submissions Period starts at 8:00:00 AM (Mountain Time) on Thursday, May 1, 2025 and ends at 8:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
- Contest entry fees are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
- Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, may portray harm to an animal, or is obscene, as determined by Furever Photography in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.
- Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entries that receive the most votes. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet will not be permitted.

Voting:
- Each $1 counts as one (1) vote.
- There is a $5 minimum transaction.
- All donations from voting are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
- Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
- All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of Gogo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
- The Voting Period starts at 8:00:00 AM (Mountain Time) on Thursday, May 1, 2025 and ends at 8:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Calendar Photo Session:
- Grand Prize winners will be notified via email immediately following conclusion of the contest. And will be contact by phone in the following days. Winners have until June 5th, 2025 to claim their prize and schedule their photo session. Scheduling preference will be given to those who respond early.
- Winning photo session MUST take place June 6th-June 15th. Grand Junction June 6th only. Denver area June 7th-15th. Session reservations will be available throughout this time, weekday and weekend availability on a first reserved basis.
- Only photographs produced by Furever Friends will be used for monthly feature photos. If your pet is unable to be photographed or you prefer a photo you took be in the calendar, please consider the reserve a date block option.
- The top 14 pets with the most votes will win a photo session with Furever Photography.
- The top 13 will be featured in the calendar, number 14 will be considered an alternate in the case that one of the top 13 is unable to participate for any reason.
- Number 14 will be awarded a photo session, but may or may not be featured in the calendar.
- In the event that one of the top 13 winners is unable to participate in the calendar photo shoot, for any reason, their spot in the calendar will be given to the next highest vote-getter, number 14, with no refund of donation available.
- Outdoor photo shoots will take place at one of the following locations: Coot Lake (Longmont/Boulder), Denver City Park, Lions Park in Golden, Lookout Mountain (Buffalo Bill Museum Trailhead) and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Pets unable to travel may be photographed at home depending on location. Other locations within the greater Denver Metro may be considered on a case by case basis. View Locations.
- The top vote recipient will win the coveted cover photo for the 2026 calendar. The following 12 recipients with the most votes will be eligible to have their pet featured as a pet of the month.
- The photographer, Furever Photography, will choose the best image of the pets to be used in the calendar.
- Month selections will be at the winners preference. In the event multiple winners select the same month, then preference is given to the pet with the highest final vote count.
- You will also be required to sign Furever Photography's standard photography agreement which includes photo & liability releases. If you are unwilling to sign the contract your grand prize photo session will be released to the next highest vote-getter.
- Each grand prize winner will have the option, though no obligation, to view and purchase prints from their session at Furever Friends standard pricing.
The Fine Print:
- By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you. Photos produced by Furever Friends Pet Photography are acceptable for submission.
- Calendars will be shipped to the general public starting late October, 2025.
- By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Colorado Pet Pantry and Furever Photography and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
Tips For Winning
Step 1. Choosing a photo.
- Select a photo that's well lit & shows your pet's beautiful face, looking at the camera is even better.
- Also, consider one that shows their personality. Their favorite toy or activity.

Step 2. Write your pet's story.
A great story can win a lot of votes. Write from your pet's perspective. Share their life story, favorite activities and what makes them Real House Pets of Colorado material.
Step 3. Rally your friends & family.
- Use the direct link to share your pet's profile to all social media. And keep sharing often.
- Share why you'd love for your pet to be featured or share why you support Colorado Pet Pantry's mission.
- Keep sharing. Each week we have prizes for the highest new vote-getter along with a runner up drawing for anyone raising over $100. And a few vote promotions throughout the contest, so keep an eye out for those.
*Special note: winning pets do not need to be professionally groomed before their photo session, however if you do want your pet groomed prior please be mindful of the timing to ensure your groomer has time before the June 6th-15th session dates.
