Your Pet's Story from his/her perspective
Hello! My name is Jiggs! That may seem like a silly name to you, but it’s a name with a storied past. You see, I was named after the first Marine Corps mascot in 1922. So, as you can imagine, I have A LOT to live up to! And if that wasn’t already enough weight on my shoulders, now I’m entered in this calendar contest, which my uncle and brother have already won. The pressure! Don’t tell anyone, but I feel pretty confident I’ll be the next big winner!
I thought you might like to know how I spend my days and learn about a few of my favorite things. First, I have taken over security operations at my house ever since my dear Uncle Gunny crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It’s a tough job, for sure. I must contend with a never-ending parade of birds and squirrels, not to mention another dog across the fence in our backyard. When I’m off duty, I can be found lounging on the couch with my brother, Johnny, and Uncle Chesty. I also love to go for walks. I log at least 2 miles per day! That’s pretty awesome for a bulldog! I hope you vote for me!
