What a blessing it was to be able to adopt our beautiful Sahara Madre from Castaway Critters. While stopping to look for a kitten, this beautiful girl was hiding in the back of her cage. The volunteer leaned in and said "you need to come show your personality or you won't find a permanent home again today." After the volunteer closed the cage and was walking away, this beautiful girl reached out and grabbed on to my husbands arm. He called our family over and we ended up adopting a two year old princess who would only drink running water from the faucet, would lay on your shoulders like a scarf, and needed her forehead kissed before she went to bed. We are so thankful that she chose to come into our lives. Unfortunately her time with us ended in June 2023 but we are forever grateful for the time she shared with us.
