When I first adopted Sassy in November of 2022, she had a lion's haircut due to severe matting when she was rescued from a feral colony. As her fur began to grow back in, she didn't look like your typical domestic long haired cat, especially due to the shape of her eyes, body and legs. After much research, I discovered she's a Norwegian Forest Cat, or Wegie for short. She communicates by chirping instead of meowing and has a wonderful personality. I'm very happy I was able to adopt her along with Heidi from the same foster.
