The Carrie A. Seaman Animal Shelter (aka CASAS) has partnered with The Provincetown Brewing Company for the 3rd annual fundraiser where your pet can grace the label of a special edition brew!
From 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 through 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 18, 2024 proud pet parents can submit a photo of their furry friend and a simple sentence as to why their pet should be featured on the label of a special edition brew. The fundraiser is open to pets (cats, dogs, horses, turtles, pigs, etc.) nationwide. Each submission costs $10.00. The winner is selected through online voting which costs only $1. Voting ends at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Winner of the label contest will be announced on September 22nd at a kickoff party for Provincetown’s Pet Appreciation Week at the Provincetown Brewing Company. In addition to being featured on a special edition label, the winning pet will also receive a case of crowlers of the special brew. Special prizes will also be awarded to the pets placing in second and third place. Provincetown Pet Appreciation Week will include the annual Blessing of the Animals at the Church of Saint Mary of the Harbor, the Commercial Street Pet Parade, and the Boat-slip “Pet Tea” where the special edition brew will be available for purchase.
CASAS board president Sherry Brec said: “this fundraiser has been a great success for the past two years and it has also galvanized the pet loving community on and off Cape -- we’re thrilled that this fundraiser has become an annual tradition.” Provincetown Brewing Co.’s Erik Borg says “we’re as pro pet as it gets! From our own lovable pet mascot Brewski to all the pets who grace our beer garden patio during “Barks & Brews pet tea happy hour. Provincetown Brewing Co. is at its best when filled with our furry friends. We are thrilled to partner with CASAS again to create a custom pet themed brew and raise funds for a vital organization.”
Many, many, many thanks to the Provincetown Brewing Co. as all proceeds from the label contest will benefit CASAS, a 501(c) 3 charitable corporations, staffed entirely by volunteers.
