Your Pet's Story or Bio (How was your pet rescued? Any cute tricks?)
It was Ozzie's "out date." I called to check to see if he was still there. They told me they were going to put him to sleep at 4pm that day. I was in San Francisco. I jumped on a plane and hightailed it to Baldwin Park. He was curled in a ball in the corner of his kennel. He knew it was time. When we put the leash around his neck and opened the kennel door, he turned toward the direction of the euth room. I bent down and whispered in his ear, "You're coming home with me." He looked at me as I tugged his leash, then broke into a gallop. He's been my hiking buddy ever since.
