Your Pet's Story or Bio (How was your pet rescued? Any cute tricks?)
Balto was on death row with only hours left to live when I saw him on Facebook, November 6, 2013. Thanks to a lady who posted her phone number, and was willing to facilitate us adopting him, he was saved 10 minutes before his life would have ended. My son and I rented a car and drove 24 hours to get him from that lady's veterinarian, where he had received the royal treatment and was waiting for us. He now has his own FB page where other dogs who urgently need homes are networked and hopefully rescued, as he was, and he enjoys having many friends who were following his story that fateful day, as well as many new friends. We gave him the birthday 11/11/11, since November is the month he found his forever home.
