Your Pet's Story or Bio (How was your pet rescued? Any cute tricks?)
Astro was picked up as a stray November 1, 2013. He spent two and a half months at the high-kill Bakersfield Shelter, and must have had an angel watching over him to have survived there so long. He was adopted January 15, 2014, and was flown to his new home with Pilots for Paws! What an adventure for a little guy who was homeless and unloved for so long. Astro is a role model for surviving. Anyone who can survive the shelter for that long is indeed special. Now he is happy, loves to play with toys, and loves to growly talk when his mom comes home. He has learned to sit and dance.
