The cutest girls around!

Daisy and Lila were rescued by Flossie’s kitten rescue in 2019 from Crookwell. The girls had significant health and behavioural issues and were very timid and scared. With patches of missing fur, very overgrown nails, ear infections, and rotten teeth (most of which had to be removed) it’s safe to say these little ones had a rough start to life.

Former Belco Pets owners Lex and Drew fostered these beautiful girls and invested much time, energy and resources to restore them back to good health.

We adopted them in 2019 and haven’t looked back! They really are the sweetest and funniest bonded pair we’ve ever encountered. Although they still have some behavioural issues (Lila especially is very fearful) and we don’t know much about their history (including specific ages, their relationship and how/why they were mistreated) their present and future is definitely bright and filled with love.

We think Lila (the Maltese X) is older and she definitely acts as the ‘mother hen’ towards little Daisy. If Daisy is unwell, Lila sniffs over her, frets and won’t leave Daisy’s side. It doesn’t get much cuter.

Lila’s absolute favourite things are food, her dad and drives - in that order. Little Daisy is very vocal and is not a fan of other dogs - typical little dog syndrome! She is the sweetest little girl at home and loves walks, mum and treat games.

These little girls are tiny (only about 3kg each) but they occupy my whole heart.
